Nau mai haere mai, welcome to our website. Established in 1870, Winton School is a forward thinking and dynamic learning community catering for students from Years 1 to 8. We have 13 classrooms, 34 full and part-time staff and a current roll of 255 amazing students.

For our 2023 production we produced a feature length movie! 'The Great Sword of Isthgul' is a fantasy adventure featuring every student and filmed in locations across Southland and Fiordland. We like to think of it as the Primary School version of 'Lord of the Rings.'
